Ashley R. Peak, 24, Ina, was arrested at 6:05 p.m. Monday on a charge of retail theft.

n Marcus L. Howard, 18, of the 1100 block of Wescott, was arrested at 11:56 p.m. Monday on a charge of driving while license suspended/revoked.


An employee of Mid-Country Bank, 2900 block of Broadway, reported to police at 9:20 a.m. Monday the bank received a counterfeit check.

n A construction worker told police at 5:12 p.m. Monday a motorist went off the roadway at the Interstate 57 southbound off ramp, causing damage to property.

n An employee of T.A. Truck Stop, 4500 block of Broadway, told police at 9:46 p.m. Monday a semi had a pin hole leak in its gas tank. The business requested the hazmat team from the fire department. The leak was stopped at 10:02 p.m., logs state.

n A motorist reported a shed in the roadway between Walmart and Lowe’s at 12:35 a.m. Tuesday. An officer checked the area and discovered there were two sheds in the roadway. A tow truck was required to remove the debris from the roadway.


Loss prevention personnel from Kohl’s reported at 3:50 p.m. Monday a female was in custody for shoplifting.

Jason W. Shepard, 30, Jonesboro, was arrested at 1 a.m. Tuesday on charges of unauthorized use of a handicap parking space, operation of a motor vehicle with expired registration and driving on a suspended/revoked license.


Ina Police received a report at 11:17 p.m. Monday of a semi drive-off of fuel at Love’s Truck Stop.
