Arrests

Deaaron B. Rudd, 22, of the 500 block of South 17th Street, was arrested at 3:13 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of violation of bail bond.

n Cortney R. Pepple, 30, Bravard Place, was arrested at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of theft between $500 and $10,000.

n Quinton Johnson, 28, Dahlgren, was arrested at 2:56 a.m. Wednesday on a charge of driving while license suspended/revoked.

Incidents

A female requested police presence at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 1500 block of South 10th Street. The reporting person said a group was attempting to batter someone, with guns involved. Litton’s Ambulance responded and transported the battered victim to Good Samaritan Hospital.

n A man called police at 2:08 a.m. Wednesday to report his girlfriend had been battered by a woman known to them.

Thefts

A man told police at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday his wallet had either been lost or stolen.

n A woman told police at 3:48 p.m. Tuesday her residence in the 900 block of South Sixth Street had been burglarized.

n A man told police at 4:49 p.m. Tuesday a 100-foot yard hose was taken from his residence recently on Fairway Drive.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office

Arrests

Keota M. Brown, 30, of the 800 block of South 15th Street, was arrested at 7:25 p.m. Tuesday on a Marion County warrant for failure to appear for obstruction of identification.

Fires

Kell Fire Department was toned out to a shed fire at 6:47 p.m. Tuesday in Prairie View Estates. Police reports indicate the fire on North Cleveland Lane was extinguished at 7:25 p.m.
