Lacey L. Corbett, 29, of the 900 block of North Sixth Street, was arrested at 2:35 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of driving while license suspended/revoked.

n Deshawon A. Washington, 23, of the 4000 block of Willow Springs, was arrested at 4:35 p.m. Wednesday on charges of armed robbery, residential burglary and home invasion.


An employee of Casey’s on Salem Road reported at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday a drive-off of $20.01.

n A woman told police at 11:49 a.m. Wednesday a television was taken from her residence in the 300 block of Castleton Avenue.

n An employee of Flota Distributing in the 700 block of East Illinois Highway 15 reported a theft at the business at 3:07 p.m. Wednesday.

n A male subject reported the theft of a cell phone at 8:42 p.m. from a residence in the 100 block of Aspen Drive.


A man told police at 3:07 p.m. Wednesday someone broke into an apartment in the 1500 block of Salem Road.

n A woman reported at 4:08 p.m. Wednesday she witnessed a fight between an employee and customer at the Halloween Store in the 400 block of South 42nd Street.

n A subject reported to police at 4:15 p.m. he/she was the victim of identity theft.

A Woodlawn teen was ticketed on a charge of failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident following a two-vehicle accident at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday on Illinois 15 at Woodlawn Lane.

Police said 17-year-old Dylan Bailey rear-ended a vehicle driven by Tashauna Kenley of Centralia, who had stopped in the eastbound lane and was attempting to turn. One person was taken to Good Samaritan Regional Health Center, although police could not identify the injured.


A woman reported at 11:57 a.m. Wednesday someone shot at her vehicle some time overnight while it was parked at a residence in the 19000 block of East Bakerville Road.

James T. Lyons, 44, Flowery Branch, Ga., was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear, possession of cannabis less than 30 grams and possession of drug equipment.
