Latoya Wilks, 29, of the 900 block of Cleveland Street, was arrested at 2:53 p.m. Monday on a charge of violation of bail bond.


A woman told police at 6:38 a.m. Monday she heard what she believed was a gunshot in the 2200 block of Cherry Street. Responding officers, however, found nothing suspicious in the area, police logs state.

n A man reported to police at 9:38 a.m. Monday a juvenile had spray-painted something on his truck in the 900 block of South 24th Street.

n A man told police at 10:14 a.m. Monday his vehicle was broken into in the 800 block of Taylor Avenue.

n Police received calls at 6:18 p.m. Monday about possible gunshots heard on 21st Street and in the 700 block of South 22nd Street. Also, two subjects were seen running in the alley between 21st Street and 20th Street at around the same time.

n A male caller reported to police at 7:25 p.m. Monday someone had spray-painted vulgar words on a two-wheel trailer in the 900 block of South 23rd Street.


A man told police at 12:21 p.m. Monday his bike was stolen in the 1200 block of South 15th Street.


A caller reported to police at 4:51 p.m. Monday a fire was getting out of control in the 1000 block of Southgate Drive and starting to catch trees on fire. The fire was extinguished and no injuries were reported.

A report was made at 10:57 a.m. Monday regarding some prescription drugs being stolen in the 100 block of West South Avenue in Bluford.
