Red Cross announces April blood drives

— The American Red Cross has scheduled blood drives for April in Jefferson County.
A drive will be held from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on April 2 at Crossroads Community Hospital; a drive will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. on April 10 at Green Tree Assisted Living; a drive will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. on April 13 at West Salem Trinity United Methodist Church in Mt. Vernon; a drive will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on April 18 at Dale’s Harley Davidson in Mt. Vernon; a drive will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on April 20 at Casey Middle School; a drive will be held from 2 to 6:30 p.m. on April 23 at the Dix Community Center; a drive will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on April 23 at First Free Will Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon; and a drive will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on April 28 at McClellan Grade School.
All presenting donors at the blood drives in April will receive a complimentary American Red Cross baseball hat.
