Incidents
A fight was reported at Southern 30 Adolescent Center at 6:31 p.m. Saturday.
A resident in the 12100 block of East Turner Drive reported at 10:37 p.m. Saturday that three dogs chased him into his home and remained outside barking and wouldn’t let him out.
A motorist near the 105 mile marker on Interstate 57 reported at 3:59 a.m. Sunday that someone threw an item off a bridge and hit his vehicle.
A motorist in the 15000 block of North Anglin Road reported at 8:23 a.m. Sunday that a black Chevy truck had been seen running over a stop sign and then putting the sign in their truck.
A resident in the 1800 block of North Meseke Lane in Bluford reported he saw a man leaving the Boat Shop in Bluford and the window had been busted out.
Fires
A power box in a barn in the 11400 block of East Sumter Road in Dix reportedly burst into flames. The Jefferson Fire Protection District and Kell Fire Department responded to the report.
Jefferson Fire Protection District responded to a trailer fire that happened at 11:15 p.m. Saturday in the 8900 block of East Meadows Road in Dix. No one was in the trailer at the time of the blaze, and it was fully involved when firemen arrived.
A brush fire was reported one mile south of Belle Rive at New Hope Cemetery at 10:49 a.m. on Sunday. According to 911 logs, the Belle Rive Fire Department was dispatched several times without answering before the assistant chief called dispatch to report no firemen were in town to respond to the fire. Jefferson Fire Protection District responded as mutual aid to put the fire out.
