Arrests
Jason L. Keele, 36, of the 14200 block of East Tolle Road, was arrested at 2:14 a.m. Tuesday on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol. Bond was set at $1,000 and Keele was released.

Thefts
A report was made at 1:52 p.m. Monday that a bad check was received at the downtown US Bank.
A resident in the 700 block of Salem Road reported to police at 4:02 p.m. Monday that a check had been stolen from their mailbox.
Police received a report at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday that possible identity theft occurred to a resident in the 800 block of East White Avenue.
A report was made at 11:52 a.m. Tuesday that items were stolen from an apartment in the 500 block of Short Street.
A report was made at 12:04 p.m. Tuesday that fuel was siphoned from a vehicle in the 200 block of North Fourth Street.

Incidents
Police received a report at 6:20 p.m. Monday that a vehicle had been egged on West Crownview.
A resident in the 2000 block of Casey Avenue reported at 9:07 p.m. Monday that subjects in a vehicle were throwing trash in their yard.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office
Arrests
Bryan A. Walton, 20, of the 600 block of Wabash Avenue in Centralia, was arrested at 10:01 a.m. Monday on two charges of contempt of court. Bond for Walton has been set at $6,500.
William J. Dubois, 18, of the 4200 block of East Seville Road in Ashley, was arrested at 9:49 p.m. Monday on a charge of theft/more than $300.

Thefts
A resident in the 8700 block of Johnson Lane in Dix reported at 8:28 p.m. Monday that CD’s and other items were stolen from their truck.

Incidents
A resident in the 100 block of West North Street in Bluford reported at 7:27 p.m. Monday that a male subject pulled a knife on a female and tried to stab her while they were in a vehicle.
