Arrests

Charity Yorkbecker, 28, of the 600 block of Lamar Avenue, was arrested at 12:21 a.m. Tuesday on a charge of driving while license suspended/revoked. Bond was set at $1,000 and Yorkbecker was released.

Keith A. Peoples, 22, of the 1000 block of South Seventh Street, was arrested at 3:21 a.m. Tuesday on a charge of driving while license suspended/revoked. Bond was set at $1,000 and Peoples was released.

Michael P. Ellis, 32, of the 11300 block of North Seven Mile Creek Lane, was arrested at 3:50 a.m. Tuesday on a charge of contempt of court. Bond was set at $3,000 and Ellis was released.

Jessica M. Lloyd, 18, of the 16500 block of North Illinois Highway 37, was arrested at 9:01 a.m. Tuesday on a charge of criminal trespass to land. Bond for Lloyd has been set at $1,000.

James R. Dotts, 66, of the 200 block of South 15th Street, was arrested at 8:40 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of disorderly conduct. Bond was set at $1,000 and Dotts was released.

Joshua L. Heck, 20, of the 2700 block of Jones Street, was arrested at 9:24 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of disorderly conduct. Bond for Heck has been set at $1,000.

Melvin Miller, 48, of Racine, Wis., was arrested at 1:54 a.m. Wednesday on a charge of resisting/obstructing an officer. Bond was set at $1,000 and Miller was released.

Chelsey Y. Jones, 19, of the 1200 block of South 26th Street, was arrested at 1:57 a.m. Wednesday on a charge of contempt of court. Bond was set at $1,500 and Jones was released.



Thefts

A resident in the 1100 block of South 12th Street reported at 9:12 a.m. Wednesday their identity may have been used by another subject who was arrested.



Incidents

A report was made at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday that two juveniles were fighting in the 1900 block of Casey Avenue.

Thefts

A report was made at 1:42 p.m. Wednesday that burglary was attempted in the 8300 block of North Riddle Lane in Waltonville.

A resident in the 1200 block of West Fifth Street in Bluford reported at 2:31 p.m. Wednesday that burglary occurred from a motor vehicle.



Incidents

The sheriff’s office received a report at 8:57 a.m. Wednesday that someone damaged a vehicle in the 100 block of East Galaxy Drive in Woodlawn.
