Arrests
Amanda R. Ortiz, 19, of the 700 block of South 21st Street, was arrested at 11:50 a.m. Thursday on a charge of theft/less than $300. Bond for Ortiz has been set at $1,000.
Heather D. Mick, 24, of the 400 block of West Campground Road in Bonnie, was arrested at 2:29 p.m. Thursday on a charge of casual delivery of cannabis/between 30 and 500 grams.
Bryan K. Haynes, 48, of the 800 block of South 23rd Street, was arrested at 5:10 p.m. Thursday on charges of contempt of court and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond for Haynes has been set at $4,000.
James E. Garner, 37, of the 800 block of South 23rd Street, was arrested at 5:24 p.m. Thursday on charges of delivery of meth within 1,000 feet of a school, park or church, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis/less than 2.5 grams.
Lacy R. Oliver, 20, of the 300 block of North 16th Street, was arrested at 6:42 p.m. Thursday on a charge of retail theft/less than $150 worth of display merchandise. Bond was set at $1,000 and Oliver was released.
John E. Payne, 34, of the 300 block of South Second Street, was arrested at 8:11 p.m. Thursday on a charge of domestic battery/prior/physical contact.
Stephen McCary, 26, of the 300 block of Jordan Street, was arrested at 12:05 a.m. Friday on charges of aggravated battery/great bodily harm and aggravated battery in a public place.
Charolette M. Knowles, 39, of the 300 block of Casey Avenue, was arrested at 12:39 a.m. Friday on charges of aggravated battery in a public place and disorderly conduct.
Latanya L. Elion, 31, of the 300 block of Casey Avenue, was arrested at 12:41 a.m. Friday on charges of disorderly conduct and aggravated battery in a public place.
Incidents
An employee at Oakwood Cemetery reported at 8:40 p.m. Thursday that a tombstone had been overturned.
Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office
Thefts
The sheriff’s office received a report at 2:49 p.m. Friday that theft occurred on North Miller Lake Lane in Texico.
Incidents
A report was made at 7:41 p.m. Thursday that criminal damage to property occurred in the 2600 block of Benton Road.
