Mt. Vernon Police Department
Arrests
Lynne Thomas, 56, of Memphis, Tenn., was arrested at 2:28 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of retail theft of display merchandise/less than $150. Bond was set at $1,000 and Thomas was released.
Stephen M. Vaughan, 39, of Bravard Place, was arrested at 10 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of disorderly conduct. Bond for Vaughan has been set at $1,000.
Jesse J. McCutcheon, 46, of the 800 block of South 21st Street, was arrested at 11:18 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of driving on a suspended license. Bond was set at $1,000 and McCutcheon was released.
Kyle W. Zemeskas, 17, of the 14600 block of North Maysville Lane, was arrested at 3:48 a.m. Wednesday on charges of resisting a peace officer and possession/consumption of liquor by a minor. Bond for Zemeskas has been set at $1,000.
Randy L. Finney, 21, of the 600 block of East Robert Drive in Irvington, was arrested at 11:11 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of retail theft of display merchandise/less than $150. Bond was set at $1,000 and Finney was released.
Thefts
An employee of Radio Shack reported at 6:51 p.m. Tuesday that a subject had shoplifted items.
A resident in the 500 block of South 22nd Street reported at 11:07 a.m. Wednesday that items were stolen from their home.
An employee of Rons BP-West reported at 7:51 p.m. Wednesday that someone drove off without paying for fuel.
A resident in the 1300 block of Casey Avenue reported at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday that a trailer was stolen.
Police received a report at 11:42 p.m. Wednesday that items were stolen from a safe in the 1100 block of Prairie Avenue.
A resident in the 2500 block of Ferguson Street reported at 7:09 a.m. Thursday that their son’s medication was stolen.
An employee of Sledge’s Motor Sales reported at 8:57 a.m. Thursday that a vehicle was burglarized overnight.
Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office
Arrests
Elizabeth A. Church, 30, of the 18500 block of East Saddleclub Road in Belle Rive, was arrested at 1:08 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol. Bond was set at $3,000 and Church was released.
Kristopher M. Capps, 24, of the 7400 block of Louisiana Road in Ashley, was arrested at 1:13 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of contempt of court. Bond was set at $1,500 and Capps was released.
Michael E. Fritz-Odell, 17, of the 12000 block of North Lighthouse Lane in Opdyke, was arrested at 2:02 p.m. Wednesday on charges of domestic battery and threatening a public official.
Thefts
A resident in the 20200 block of East Sandpiper Road in Bluford reported at 12:49 a.m. Wednesday that tools had been stolen from their garage.
The sheriff’s office received a report at 9:59 a.m. Wednesday that high water and flood signs had been stolen.
A resident in the 600 block of Fairfield Road reported at 12:08 p.m. Wednesday that identity theft had occurred.
The sheriff’s office received a report at 7:15 a.m. Thursday that two buildings had been broken into owned by Roy’s Outboard Service.
A report was made at 10:41 a.m. Thursday that a chain link fence was cut at McDermotts Sales and Service and vehicles were broken into.
Fires
A report was made at 12:46 a.m. Thursday that an abandoned house was fully engulfed in flames in the 4500 block of North Spruce Lane in Waltonville.
Illinois State Police
Arrests
Eddie M. Glover, 43, of St. Louis, was arrested at 7:31 p.m. Tuesday on charges of contempt of court and driving on a revoked license. Bond was set at $6,000 and Glover was released.
