Eleven-year-old Alec Combs presents Linda Cornwell of Lobo Animal Shelter with a check for donations he received last year during a fundraising drive he spearheaded at Waltonville Grade School. According to Cornwell, the donation will be used to help provide a new facility for the no-kill shelter.
