Mt. Vernon Police Department

Arrests

Albert Newman, 31, of the 100 block of Aspen Drive, was arrested at 5:17 a.m. on Monday on charges of disorderly conduct. Bond for Newman was set at $1,000.

Marty L. Brumley, 38, of the 1000 block of Oakland, was arrested at 4:45 a.m. Monday on charges of domestic battery.

Anthonyian M. Shelby, 30, of Chicago, was arrested at 12:36 a.m. Sunday on charges of resisting a peace officer and aggravated intimidation of a peace officer.



Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office

Arrests

Jason E. Dodson, 32, of the 1200 block of Dix-Irvington Road, Irvington, was arrested at 8:04 p.m. Sunday on charges of aggravated fleeing at 21 and over the speed limit, speeding 40 miles per hour over the speed limit, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, resisting a peace officer and obstruct/destroy evidence.

Kristi D. Timmons, 35, of Centralia, was arrested at 10:31 a.m. Saturday on charges of contempt of court. Bond for Timmons was set at $1,000.

Randy J. Darnell, 36, of Buckner, was arrested at 3:55 p.m. Friday on an out of state warrant.

Incidents

A resident in the 200 block of Jones Street in Woodlawn reported at 7:43 p.m. Sunday that someone had damaged their swimming pool with a knife.

A mailbox was reported smashed in the first block of East Doppler Road, Ashley at 10:27 a.m. on Saturday.

Thefts

A resident in the 7800 block of North Spring Garden Lane reported to the sheriff’s office at 8:01 p.m. Saturday that their home had been broken into and items taken.
