Charges Filed

Ruth A. Benson, 58, of the 700 block of Cowling Street in Nason, was charged with domestic battery for allegedly hitting a family member in the head with her hands on Sept. 25.

James M. Chandler, 45, of the 900 block of Salem Road, was charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly threatening a woman on Sept. 30.

Michael Broadway, 27, off the 400 block of South 22nd Street, was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis with the intent to deliver between 10 and 30 grams of the drug on Oct. 1.

Arltrun D. Flewelling, 65, of Yankton, S.D., was charged with forgery for allegedly giving a forged check to Super 8 Motel in the amount of $150 on Aug. 20.

Garrett J. Watson, 39, of the 1200 block of Logan Street, was charged with unlawful use of a credit/debit card for allegedly doing so at Ron’s One Stop on July 10.

Christopher Lee Foulks, 26 of the 1100 block of South 24th Street, was charged with unlawful failure to register as a sex offender for allegedly doing so on July 14.

Kenneth W. McKinney, 33, of the 1100 block of South 12th Street, was charged with obstruction of justice for allegedly giving police officers a false name and date of birth on July 17.
