Mt. Vernon Police Department

Arrests

Crystal A. Reed, 39, of Ina, was arrested Monday at 2 a.m. on a charge of contempt of court. Bond was set at $3,000.

Devin D. Gilker, 23, of the 1600 block of 12th Street, was arrested Sunday at 6:31 p.m. on a charge of domestic battery.

Jesse L. Stumbaugh, 20, of the 1300 block of North 11th Street, was arrested Thursday at 5:05 a.m. on a charge of resisting a peace officer. Bond was set at $7,500.

Tony D. Backues, 20, of the 1900 block of South Ninth Street, was arrested Thursday at 1:23 a.m. on an out-of-state warrant.

Leon D. Kemmerling, 17, of the 600 block of Park Avenue, was arrested Wed-nesday at 11:13 a.m. on a charge of retail theft.

Keith A. Peoples, 23, of the 1000 block of South Seventh Street, was arrested Friday at 12:52 a.m. on an in-state warrant. Bond was set at $3,500 and Peoples was released.

Thefts

Thursday at 5:46 a.m., police responded to a report of tools stolen in the 4100 block of Watertower Place.

Thursday at 1:59 p.m., police responded to a report of a stolen PlayStation 3 in the 900 block of South 23rd Street.

Monday at 9:34 a.m., police responded to a report of a stereo stolen out of a car parked in the 1100 block of Park Avenue.

Monday at 1:36 p.m., police responded to a report of a stolen dog in the 100 block of Pecan Court.

Incidents

Thursday at 3:32 p.m., police responded to a report of indecent exposure in the 500 block of Salem Road.

Wednesday at 5:37 p.m., police responded to a report of a fight in progress in the 1200 block of Bell Street.

Wednesday at 10:16 p.m., police responded to a report of robbery at gunpoint at the Hardees at 4333 Broadway.

Thursday at 2:02 p.m., police responded to a report of prostitution at the Travel Centers of America.

Police responded to a report of property damage Monday at 12:37 p.m. in the 1500 block of Perkins Avenue.

Monday at 1:43 p.m., police responded to a report of battery in the 1200 block of Harrison Street.

Accidents

Thursday at 1:16 p.m., police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident in the 600 block of South 24th Street. There were no injuries reported.

Thursday at 1:39 p.m., police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident in the 1200 block of Herbert Street. There were no injuries reported.

Wednesday at 9:16 p.m., police responded to a report of a three-car motor vehicle accident with injuries.



Jefferson County Sheriffs Office

Arrests

Kyle K. McCune, 21, of Waltonville, was arrested Friday at 4 p.m. on an in-state warrant. Bond was set at $10,000.

Jeff R. Shelton, 26, of the 16000 block of East Beal Road, was arrested Friday at 11:47 a.m. on charges of obstructing an officer, driving on a suspended/revoked license and leaving the scene of an accident/vehicle damage.

Thefts

Friday at 2:06 p.m., police responded to a report of a theft of a 20-foot-long trailer on Bishop Avenue.

Incidents

Police responded to a report of a truckload of items dumped Saturday at 12:01 p.m. on North Passport Lane.
