Toys for Kids of Jefferson County has updated its hours for registration and donation drop-off.

Available dates will be:

1-4 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 18

1-4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23

5:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24

Anyone who has registered at Trinity Episcopal Church doesn’t need to register again.

Toys For Kids accepts new handmade or store bought toys, as long as they are not firearms or anything that can promote violence.

To be eligible to receive gifts from Toys for Kids, children must be between the ages of newborn and 14 years old and need to have a Medicaid card, or if they don’t have that, a referral from a school principal or church pastor.

Pick up for parents or guardians of children in need begins December 4 at 8 a.m.

Toys for Kids is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving area children at Christmas. Those with questions or who would like to help are asked to call Melanie Spangler at 246-3029.
