The American Red Cross has scheduled blood drives for the month of April in Jefferson County
A blood drive will be held from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on April 4 at Crossroads Community Hospital, with all presenting donors to receive a Red Cross tumbler cup.
Bethel Grade School will host a drive from 2 to 6 p.m. on April 12 in the school gym, with any student recruiting a donor receiving an incentive item.
Project Hope will sponsor a drive at the Rend Lake MarketPlace from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 13 in rooms 210 and 211. A scratch off card will be given to all presenting donors.
The Free Will Baptist Church in Ina will host a drive from 2 to 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall on April 15, with food for all presenting donors.
Field Grade School is hosting a blood drive from 2 to 6 p.m April 16 in the gym. Any student that recruits a donor will receive a Red Cross incentive item.
The Mt. Vernon Fire Department will sponsor a blood drive from 2 to 6 p.m. on April 19 inside Times Square Mall. A T-shirt and chili will be given to all presenting donors.
Good Samaritan Regional Health Center will host a drive from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 19 in the Medical Plaza Mother Odilia Classroom.
Rned Lake College will host a two-day blood drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 23 and April 24 in the South Oasis building. Scratch off cards will be given to all presenting donors.
The Dix Community Blood Drive will be held from 2 to 6 p.m at the Community Center on April 24. All presenting donors will receive food and refreshments.
The Bluford Community blood drive will be held noon to 5 p.m. on April 30 at Webber Township High School. Presenting donors will count toward the high school receiving a scholarship.
