"Last year we had a couple of hot air balloons fly over the airport. This year, we'll have at least 10. There will be a balloon glow at 6:30 p.m.Friday at the airport," Jerdon said. Also new this year is a pumpkin decorating contest, sponsored by the Business Women's Club for ages K through 13; and children over 13 can enter a pumpkin carving contest.
"We thought our Fall Fest went well last year," Jerdon said. "The weather was perfect on Saturday and Sunday and people came out. Over the three-day period we estimate around 20,000 people attended."
