n The Board approved a one-year contract with Krehbiel & Associates to conduct the district’s annual audit.
n The Board authorized the superintendent to apply for a 50/50 matching summer maintenance project. A 23-year-old roof over the three-story building at Casey Jr. High is leaking and the District will apply for funds to replace that roof at an estimated cost of $120,000.
n Summer food program and food service contracts were approved.
n Summer school will commence on May 28 and continue through June 21. Susan Staples has been named summer school principal. Special education summer school through the Jefferson-Franklin counties cooperative will be held at the Primary Center.
n It was announced a retirement reception will be held for four District 80 retirees at noon Friday at the Elks Lodge.
