“It’s always nice for us when we can really showcase our members,” Scattone said. “We want to help them get their name out there.”
Chamber officials put a lot of thought into what restaurants to choose, Scattone said. For this year’s dinner, two new restaurants are being showcased, Girolamo’s and the Rare Chop House.
“We tried to make the best decision on where to go and what to feature for the public,” Scattone said. “It should be a really fun night.”
Typically, 45 to 50 people attend each year’s dinner. Last year’s event was popular even though a blizzard took place that day, Scattone said.
“We still had people show up,” Scattone said. “People look forward to it.”
Tickets for the Progressive Dinner are $35 each and can be purchased at the Chamber office, 200 Potomac Boulevard in Mt. Vernon.
