n Jerry W. Gill, 36, of the 1000 block of South 23rd Street, was formally charged Monday with aggravated driving under the influence and driving while license suspended/revoked. Records state on Monday the defendant drove a truck after driving privileges had been revoked, a Class 4 felony.

n Richard A. Green, 33, of the 19000 block of North Illinois 37, was formally charged Monday with resisting a peace officer. Records state on June 1 the defendant interfered with the questioning of a female subject who was a suspect in a DUI incident.

n Jessie A. Arnett, 22, of the 13000 block of East Beal Road, was formally charged on Monday with unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Records state on Monday the defendant possessed less than 15 grams of a substance containing clonazepam, a controlled substance.

n Jerry A. England, 36, of the 300 block of South Fourth Street, was formally charged Tuesday with violation of an order of protection and possession of a hypodermic needle/syringe. Records state on Tuesday the defendant was within 500 feet of a residence on South Fourth Street in which he was prohibited; and he possessed a syringe/needle with the intent to inject drugs.

n Zachary L. Youngblood, 19, of the 9100 block of North Cherryville Lane, was formally charged Tuesday with two counts of burglary. Records state on Tuesday the defendant entered two vehicles within the city limits of Mt. Vernon with the intent to commit a theft.

Dispositions

Donovan R. Grissom, 25, of the 2400 block of Casey Ave., pleaded guilty May 31 to a charge of battery. He was sentenced to one year of court supervision and to pay court costs. He was credited with four days served.

n William C. Lamont, 34, of the 300 block of Cedar Drive, pleaded guilty May 31 to a charge of disorderly conduct. He was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge, 30 hours of public service, and to pay court fines.
