MT. VERNON — — The third Market Days event of this season is set to take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the former Armory site in Mt. Vernon.
Organizers expect more than 100 vendors to be on hand selling food, furniture, arts and crafts, clothing, jewelry, antiques and more. If the weather is nice, Market Days can draw as many as 4,000 to 4,500 people, said Bonnie Jerdon, a member of Mt. Vernon Festivals Inc., which organizes the event.
Admission to Market Days is free. The event is being held once a month this year from April to October.
