Charges filed:

Jennifer M. Donahue-Edwards, 25, of the 2700 block of Cherry Street, was formally charged Oct. 8 with retail theft. The charge alleges on Sept. 8 the defendant took numerous items, not in excess of $300, from Kmart.

n Danielle N. Brumley, 24, of the 900 block of Salem Road, was formally charged Oct. 8 with battery. The charge alleges on Oct. 8 the defendant struck a man about the body.

n Victoria S. Bethune, 20, Eldorado, was formally charged Oct. 8 with unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor. The charge alleges on Sept. 5 the defendant had six bottles of beer in her possession.

n Jasper A. Mrema, 38, Columbus, Ohio, was formally charged Oct. 8 with criminal trespass to a motor vehicle. The charge alleges the defendant entered a 2005 Volvo tractor without permission.

n Anthony L. Snyder, 20, Opdyke, was formally charged Oct. 8 with possession of drug paraphernalia. The charge alleges on Oct. 4 the defendant possessed a metal pipe with the intent to inhale cannabis.

n Ryan C. Duncan, 25, Dix, was formally charged Oct. 8 with retail theft. The charge alleges on Oct. 1 the defendant took a candy bar from Farm Fresh.

n Faye A. Buford, 54, of the 2200 block of Casey Avenue, was formally charged Oct. 9 with battery. The change alleges on Aug. 30 the defendant spit on a man.

n Lynn A. Bethard, 54, of the 1700 block of Groves Street, was formally charged Oct. 9 with theft. The charge alleges the defendant took DVD’s with a value of less than $500 from a woman.

n Stephen M. Vaughan, 44, of the 700 block of South 18th Street, was formally charged Oct. 9 with battery. The charge alleges on July 25 the defendant punched a woman in the face.

n Robert J. Flanders, 50, of the 4300 block of Rose Lane, was formally charged Oct. 9 with harassment by telephone. The charge alleges on Feb. 2 the defendant made repeated calls to a woman with the intent to harass the victim.

n Christy D. Wadley, 34, Centralia, was formally charged Oct. 9 with retail theft. The charge alleges the defendant took clothing, with a value of less than $300, from Kohl’s.

n Karen P. Fitzmaurice, 54, Ina, was formally charged Oct. 9 with disorderly conduct. The charge alleges the defendant yelled and cursed at a man to cause a breach of peace.

n Treva B. Miller, 20, of the 200 block of North Seventh Street, was formally charged Oct. 9 with disorderly conduct. The charge alleges the defendant yelled and threatened a woman causing a breach of peace.

n Elgin D. Brown, 27, of the 1400 block of South 34th Street, was formally charged Oct. 10 with aggravated domestic battery and domestic battery with an enhanced sentence. The charges allege the defendant strangled and squeezed the neck of a woman; and he caused bodily harm to an infant in that he knocked a car seat to the floorboard, causing the infant to strike his head. The defendant has a prior conviction of domestic battery.

n John F. Wells, 17, of the 800 block of South 21st Street, was formally charged Oct. 11 with two counts of aggravated battery and two counts of mob action. The charges allege on Oct. 10 the defendant caused bodily harm to D.S. in that he struck the victim about the body on Mt. Vernon High School property; the second count alleges the defendant caused bodily harm to J.B. The mob action charges allege the defendant, while acting with two other subjects, by the use of force and violence inflicted injury on the two victims.

n Clayton Anderson, 18, of the 2000 block of Richview Road, was formally charged Tuesday with theft over $300, theft, and criminal trespass to a motor vehicle. The charges allege on Sunday the defendant took a woman’s vehicle, took a TV, and operated the vehicle of the victim.

n James G. Peterson, 53, of the 100 block of North Sixth Street, was formally charged Tuesday with aggravated domestic battery and battery. The charges allege the defendant struck his wife with a plate in the head, severely injuring her arm; and count two states the defendant has a prior conviction of aggravated battery.

n Deshawon A. Washington, 23, of the 4000 block of Willow Springs, was formally charged Wednesday with home invasion, armed robbery and residential burglary. The charges allege on Sept. 13 the defendant entered a residence in the 2400 block of Casey Avenue while armed with a firearm and threatened to shoot a man. The robbery charge alleges the defendant took money and a Playstation console from the victim; and the burglary charge states the defendant entered the residence with the intent to commit a theft.

n Ketarius Peoples, 21, of the 500 block of Broadway, was formally charged Thursday with residential burglary and theft with a prior conviction of burglary. The charges allege the defendant entered a home in the 100 block of North Seventh Street with the intent to commit a theft; and count two states the defendant took a Durabrand speaker from the residence.

Dispositions:

Robert W. Bain, 32, of the 400 block of Jordan Street, pleaded guilty Oct. 10 to a charge of domestic battery. He was sentenced to 18 months of probation.

n John C. Benjamin, 25, Dix pleaded guilty Oct. 10 to two amended charges of disorderly conduct. He was sentenced to 18 months of conditional discharge.

n Zohn T. McLaughlin, 41, of the 200 block of Opdyke, pleaded guilty Oct. 10 to a charge of driving while license suspended/revoked. He was sentenced to 18 months of conditional discharge and 180 days in jail.

n Michelle A. Baker, 38, of the 2400 block of Lamar Avenue, pleaded guilty Thursday to a charge of battery. She was sentenced to 18 months of court supervision.

n Samuel L. Browning, 21, of the 2000 block of Perkins Avenue, pleaded guilty Thursday to a charge of domestic battery. He was sentenced to 18 months of conditional discharge.

n Brian L. Burton, 46, of the 700 block of South 10th Street, pleaded guilty Thursday to a charge of domestic battery. He was sentenced to 18 months of conditional discharge.

n Robert L. Dickerson, 22, of the 300 block of North Fifth Street, pleaded guilty Thursday to a charge of possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams. He was sentenced to one year of conditional discharge.

n Donna D. Fisher, 56, of the 700 block of South 18th Street, pleaded guilty Thursday to a charge of retail theft. She was sentenced to 18 months of conditional discharge.

n Damondrae S. James, 18, of the 1600 block of South 12th Street, pleaded guilty Oct. 11 to a charge of possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams. He was sentenced to 18 months of conditional discharge.

n Ashley L. Jordan, 23, of the 2700 block of Jones Street, pleaded guilty Thursday to a charge of retail theft. She was sentenced to 18 months of court supervision.

n Gregory M. Osborne, 27, Oak Ridge, Tenn., pleaded guilty Oct. 10 to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to 18 months of conditional discharge.

n Michael S. Pinkston, 21, Centralia, pleaded guilty Oct. 10 to a charge of consumption of liquor by a minor. He was sentenced to one year conditional discharge.

n Jacob B. Radake, 23, Hoffman, pleaded guilty Oct. 10 to a charge of reckless conduct. He was sentenced to one year of court supervision.

n Charles E. Riley, 26, Marion, pleaded guilty Oct. 11 to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to 18 months conditional discharge.

n Florentino Rios, 40, of the 2000 block of Brownsville Road, pleaded guilty Oct. 10 to a charge of assault. The defendant was sentenced to 18 months conditional discharge.

n Horace Cherry, 56, Glenwood, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of driving under the influence. He was sentenced to one year conditional discharge and 240 hours of public service.

n Troy J. Newcomb, 21, Centralia, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. He was sentenced to 18 months of court supervision.
