Good Samaritan offering vein screening

---- — St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Medical Group Heart and Vascular Center is offering a free varicose vein screening on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The screening is led by Dr. Hoang Nguyen, a cardiovascular surgeon fellowship trained at the prestigious Arizona Heart Institute. The St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Heart and Vascular Center team are specially trained experts that use the most advanced technology available for treating vein disorders with minimal discomfort and down time. Techniques used include endovenous laser therapy, which can help prevent health complications caused by varicose veins and is covered by most insurance companies.

Varicose vein screenings will be performed by a certified ultrasound technician from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday at the Heart and Vascular Center in the Good Samaritan Regional Health Center Medical Plaza at 2 Good Samaritan Way, Suite 220, in Mt. Vernon.
