Charges filed:

Randy L. Johnson, 25, of the 1000 block of South 19th Street, was formally charged Nov. 19 with criminal damage to property and battery. Records state the defendant damaged a door on Jefferson County Housing Authority property and punched a woman in the face.

n Lavell C. Phyfiher, 26, Chicago, was formally charged Nov. 19 with resisting a peace officer. Records state on Oct. 27 the defendant lied to a police officer about the identity of an occupant in Phyfiher’s vehicle.

n Richard W. Hanson, 34, of the 2400 block of Casey Avenue, was formally charged Nov. 21 with unlawful presence of a child sex offender in a park.

n Iman Stallworth, 28, of the 400 block of Bell Street, was formally charged Nov. 22 with domestic battery. Records state on Nov. 21 the defendant allegedly bit her husband on the hand.

n Phillip E. Chapman, 32, of the 800 block of Williams, was formally charged Nov. 22 with unlawful possession of meth less than 5 grams.

n Amy J. Morgan, 41, of the 16000 block of North Illinois Highway 37, was formally charged Nov. 25 with retail theft. Records state on Aug. 22 the defendant took numerous items from Kroger.

n Bryan P. Desch, 32, of the 1500 block of Paula Drive, was formally charged Nov. 25 with retail theft. Records state on Aug. 22 the defendant took numerous items from Kroger.

n Donald E. Bowman, 52, Enfield, was formally charged on Nov. 25 with deceptive practice. Records state on Jan. 19 the defendant paid Dale’s Harley-Davidson $7,000 for merchandise, knowing the check would not be paid by the depository.

n Matthew G. Athmer, 50, Bartelso, was formally charged Nov. 25 with four counts of deceptive practice. Records state on May 16 the defendant delivered a check in the amount of $7,120 to Toennies Electric; on May 20 a check in the amount of $6,984 to Homestyles; on May 20 a check of $1,000 to Homestyles; and on May 17 a check of $5,775 to T & S Plumbing & Contracting, knowing that none of the checks would be paid by the depository.

n David R. Bradford, 61, of the 1300 block of South 26th Street, was formally charged Nov. 25 with burglary. Records state on Nov. 22 the defendant entered a vehicle in the 2600 block of Veterans Memorial Drive with the intent to commit a theft.

n Michael R. Boling, 32, of the 1500 block of Herbert Street, was formally charged Nov. 27 with unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Records state on Nov. 27 the defendant had less than 50 grams of cocaine in his possession.

n Delmay L. Hawkins, 45, of the 1400 block of White Street, was formally charged Nov. 27 with two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Records state on Nov. 27 the defendant had less than 15 grams of hydrocodone, a controlled substance; and had less than 15 grams of Diazepam, a controlled substance.

n Ashley D. Mick, 32, Dix, was formally charged Nov. 27 with burglary and two counts of theft. Records state on Nov. 11 the defendant entered Home City Ice in the 700 block of Illinois Highway 15 with the intent to commit a theft. The theft charges allege the defendant took diesel from the establishment on Oct. 15 and Nov. 11.

n Michael P. Ellis, 37, of the 1300 block of South 13th Street, was formally charged Dec. 3 with unlawful possession with intent to deliver meth and obstructing justice. Records state on Nov. 30 the defendant possession less than 5 grams of meth; and he attempted to conceal evidence from a police officer.

n William D. Smith, 18, of the 1200 block of South 13th Street, was formally charged Dec. 3 with two counts of burglary. Records state on Nov. 23 the defendant entered a building on South 15th Street with the intent to commit a theft; and he took air conditioning units from the property.

n Aaron W. Lockhart, 18, of the 1200 block of South 13th Street, was formally charged Dec. 3 with two counts of burglary. Records state on Nov. 23 the defendant entered a building on South 15th Street with the intent to commit a theft; and he took two air conditioning units from the property. He was also charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance in that he had less than 15 grams of a substance containing Clonazopam.

Dispositions:

Averi Peoples, 26, of the 1000 block of South Seventh Street, pleaded guilty Wednesday to a reduced charge of knowingly damaging property less than $300 and criminal trespass to a residence. He was sentenced to two years of probation.

n Stacy A. Ellis, 48, of the 1200 block of South 27th Street, pleaded guilty Wednesday to a charge of possession of meth less than 5 grams. She was sentenced to two years of conditional discharge.

n Ronald D. Eubanks, 54, Benton, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to one year of probation.

n Icaza McGee Jr., 40, of the 600 block of South 18th Street, pleaded guilty Nov. 26 to a charge of failing to register as a sex offender. He was sentenced to three years to the Department of Corrections.

n Spencer K. Szarek, 42, of the 1200 block of Forest Avenue, pleaded guilty Wednesday to a reduced charge of domestic battery. He was sentenced to two years of probation.

n Charles T. Payton, 20, of the 2400 block of College Street, pleaded guilty Wednesday to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to one year conditional discharge.

n Matthew C. Pasko, 26, Christopher, pleaded guilty Nov. 26 to a charge of theft. He was sentenced to 30 months of court supervision.

n Joseph J. Laur, 21, Waltonville, pleaded guilty Nov. 26 to a charge of theft between $500 and $10,000. He was sentenced to 30 months of conditional discharge.

n Zachary C. Zimmerman, 18, of the 700 block of South 23rd Street, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of burglary. He was sentenced to 48 months of probation.

n Orlando E. Dotts, 19, of the 2700 block of Jones Street, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of burglary. He was sentenced to 48 months of probation and to make restitution.

n Kriston R. Ruiz, 19, of the 600 block of Harrison Street, pleaded guilty Nov. 26 to a charge of criminal damage to government property. She was sentenced to 30 months of conditional discharge.

n Noah D. Hayes, 30, of the 9000 block of North Triton Lane, pleaded guilty Nov. 26 to a charge of theft under $300. He was sentenced to 30 months of probation.

n Rachel J. Eller, 33, Ramsey, pleaded guilty Nov. 25 to a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol. She was sentenced to 10 days in jail and two years of probation.

n Kyle D. Gant, 24, of the 7700 block of South 18th Street, pleaded guilty Nov. 25 to a charge of driving under the influence. He was sentenced to 18 months of conditional discharge.

n Stewart E. Phyfiher, 20, of the 900 block of Salem Road, pleaded guilty Nov. 25 to a charge of driving under the influence. He was sentenced to 18 months of court supervision.

n Donald G. Cullum, 48, Centralia, pleaded guilty Monday to a charge of driving under the influence. He was sentenced to two years of court supervision.

n Whitney L. Garretson, 27, Millington, Tenn., pleaded guilty Monday to a charge of driving under the influence. She was sentenced to 18 months of court supervision.

n Douglas Spells, 64, of the 2900 block of Peace Street, pleaded guilty Monday to a charge of driving under the influence. He was sentenced to 18 months of court supervision.
