MT. VERNON — — Initial estimates are it would cost roughly $2 million to equip the new Mt. Vernon Township High School with technology.
Even so, MVTHS officials are investigating ways to reduce that cost. Proposed size reductions for the new school could also have an impact on technology expenses.
Bidding for technology would likely occur three to four months after the construction bids are awarded. Currently, MVTHS officials are looking to rebid much of the construction portion of the project.
