MT. VERNON — — The Harmony Roses Chorus group will perform a free concert at 2 p.m. June 21 in the Schweinfurth Museum at the Jefferson County Historical Village.
Harmony Roses is a local chapter of Sweet Adelines International, which is an organization made up of women singers dedicated to advancing the musical art form of barbership harmony, states a news release from the Jefferson County Historical Society.
The chorus group performs barbershop and a cappella music at local hospitals, nursing homes and churches, as well as at community dedications and other events.
