MT. VERNON — Crossroads Community Hospital will introduce its new four-arm Robotic Surgery System at a Healthy Woman public event set for 6 p.m. Feb. 3 at the hospital's conference center.
The system allows surgeons to perform precise, minimally invasive procedures for the hospital's Women's Health Program. Using the robotic technology helps patients as it results in less pain, less scarring and a faster recovery time.
At the Feb. 3 event, a replica of the robotic system will be available for demonstrations. In addition, the Girl Scouts' Robotic Team will be on hand to display some of their robots.
You can make a reservation for the event at www.crossroadscommunityhospital.com. Find out more Saturday on this site or in the print edition of the Register-News.
