BOYD — —
A double-wide mobile home about one-quarter mile west of Boyd was destroyed by fire early Saturday morning.
According to Captain Conan King of the Jefferson Fire Protection District, officials received a call at 12:33 a.m. of a fire in the 67000 block of Richview Road. No one was home when the fire broke out and no injuries were reported.
The home is owned by Curtis and Alicia Meadows, according to officials.
King said the fire appears to have started in the living room, although the cause has been undetermined.
About 20 fire personnel from JFPD, Woodlawn and the Irvington fire departments battled the blaze, bringing it under control around 1:20 a.m.
EMS was requested when one of the homeowners had an anxiety attack, authorities said.
