•Cassandra M. Allain, 22, of the 900 block of Cleveland Street, was formally charged July 12 with criminal damage to property. The charge alleges on April 4 the defendant damaged a window to an apartment.

•Aileen K. Williams, 59, of the 800 block of South 23rd Street, was formally charged July 12 with telephone harassment. The charge alleges on March 9 the defendant made a call to a man with the intent to harass the victim.

• Tad A. Larson, 25, of the 15000 block of North Old Centralia Road, was formally charged July 12 with domestic battery. The charge alleges on Sept. 15, 2012, the defendant pushed a female family member.

• Thomas Williams, 25, Bonnie, was formally charged July 12 with two counts of domestic battery. The charges allege on April 24 the defendant struck a male family member in the head with a baseball bat; count two states the defendant punched a male family member in the face.

• Andrew D. Schnitker, 34, Hoyleton, was formally charged July 12 with domestic battery. The charge states on Sept. 16, 2012, the defendant pushed a female family member into a van in front of their child.

•Jesse L. Scroggins, 32, of the 800 block of South 34th Street, was formally charged July 12 with domestic battery. The charge alleges on July 8 the defendant struck a male family member with a brush.

• James K. Scroggins, 28, of the 800 block of South 34th Street, was formally charged July 8 with domestic battery. The charges alleges the defendant, with his hand, struck a male family member in the face.

Dispositions

Robert E. Hunter, 36, of the 1000 block of Wescott, pleaded guilty Thursday to a charge of domestic battery. He was placed on conditional discharge for 36 months.

•Stephen L. Johnson, 37, Bluford, pleaded guilty Thursday to a charge of theft less than $300. He was placed on conditional discharge for 30 months and given credit for 18 days served.

•Barrett L. Jones, 33, of the 800 block of South 23rd Street, pleaded guilty Thursday to a charge of possession of a controlled substance and failing to register as a sex offender. He was sentenced to six years to the Illinois Department of Corrections to run concurrently.
