Rotary International District Governor Lane Harvey will be the featured speaker when the Mt. Vernon Rotary Club meets today.
Harvey, a member of the Mt. Vernon club, will be making his first official visit to his home club since taking over Rotary affairs in Illinois’ 28 southern-most counties July 1.
“I will be sharing my goals for the district and its clubs, as well as reporting on developments at the international and district levels,” Harvey said. “I’ll also be soliciting input from the Mt. Vernon Club as to how we can better serve it.
Todays meeting will be held at noon at the Elks Lodge, 1107 Jordan St., Mt. Vernon.
