MT. VERNON — — A total of 42 percent of District 80 students met or exceeded state standards on the Illinois Standards Achievement Test for 2012-2013, according to recently released Illinois School Report Card data.
This percentage is equal to last year's figure for the district, but below the state average of 59 percent. District 80's reading percentage on the ISAT increased in 2012-2013 from 41 percent to 43 percent, and the math percentage dropped from 44 percent to 41 percent. Science remained the same at 67 percent.
