Charges

Ashton Trotter, 18, of the 800 block of Apricot Avenue, was formally charged June 6 with three counts of residential burglary and one count of possession of cannabis. Court records state on June 3 the defendant allegedly entered residences in the 3100 block of Mulberry, 800 block of Apricot and 600 block of Nora Avenue without permission, and on May 4 possessed not more than 2.5 grams of a substance containing cannabis.

n Stephen P. Blackwell, 47, homeless, was formally charged Monday with retail theft. Records state on June 6 the defendant took batteries, a scrubber pad, a package of hooks and makeup from Kroger.

n Leon L. Kemmerling, 20 of the 800 block of South 21st St., was formally charged Monday with retail theft. Records state on June 6 the defendant took a pair of shoes from Payless Shoes on 42nd Street.

n David J. King, 51, of the 8500 block of North Reardon Lane, was formally charged Wednesday with aggravated driving under the influence. Records state on Tuesday King was involved in a motor vehicle accident causing bodily harm to another person.

n Molly A. Ledbette, 21, of the 17000 block of North Illinois 37, was formally charged Thursday with three counts of aggravated battery. Records state on Sunday the defendant struck an officer in the back of the head; and on Monday she spit in the face of two different officers. She was also charged with criminal damage to state supported property in that she damaged a microphone in a city police squad car.

n Haley R. Stocke, 20, Enfield, was formally charged Thursday with unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Records state on May 11 the defendant possessed less than 200 grams of a substance containing Alprazolam, a controlled substance.

n Trinity R. Albritton, 20, of the 300 block of Harrison Street, was formally charged June 6 with unlawful consumption of alcohol. Records state the defendant, a minor, possession an alcoholic beverage on May 6.

n Charles E. Riley, 25, Marion, was formally charged June 6 with unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Records state on April 30 the defendant possessed not more than 2.5 grams of cannabis and a pipe with the intent to inhale cannabis.

n Vencint P. Rush, 27, Alton, was formally charged June 6 with criminal damage to state supported property. Records state on April 29 the defendant entered housing authority property after being banned from the property.

n Deborah L. Nardone, 52, of the 1100 block of South 23rd Street, was formally charged June 6 with possession of a hypodermic syringe/needle and possession of drug paraphernalia. Records state on May 3 the defendant possessed a one-hitter box with the intent to ingest a controlled substance.

n Victor J. Brooks, 21, of the 1000 block of South 13th Street, was formally charged Tuesday with obstructing a police officer. Record state on Sunday the defendant pulled away and struck with his left elbow an officer in the right shoulder.

n Tavon Golliday, 22, of the 900 block of South 23rd Street, was formally charged Thursday with theft. Records state on April 16 the defendant took less than $500 of fuel from Casey’s on Salem Road.

n Wayne A. Spotanski, 55, Scheller, was formally charged Thursday with battery. Records state on May 13 the defendant punched a man in the face with his fist.

Jessie A. Johnson, 19, of the 1300 block of Casey Avenue, pleaded guilty May 31 to a charge of consumption of liquor by a minor. He was placed on 18 months’ conditional discharge.

n Chrisandra M. Meeks, 27, Bluford, pleaded guilty May 30 to a charge of domestic battery. She was sentenced to two years’ conditional discharge.

n Donovan R. Grissom, 25, of the 2400 block of Casey Ave., pleaded guilty May 31 to a charge of battery. He was sentenced to one year of court supervision and to pay court costs. He was credited with four days served.

n William C. Lamont, 34, of the 300 block of Cedar Drive, pleaded guilty May 31 to a charge of disorderly conduct. He was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge, 30 hours of public service, and to pay court fines.

n Loyd E. Burke, 49, of the 1000 block of South 21st Street, pleaded guilty June 4 to a charge of aggravated battery. He was placed on conditional discharge for 30 months.

n Evan K. Green, 26, of the 300 block of East Beacon Court, pleaded guilty June 6 to a charge of burglary. He was sentenced to four years’ conditional discharge and given credit for 19 days served.

n Khireya A. Commons, 23, of the 900 block of Cleveland, pleaded guilty June 7 to a charge of disorderly conduct. The defendant was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge.

n Dustin M. Crunk, 24, Dix, pleaded guilty June 7 to a charge of possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams. He was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge.

n Robert L. Dickerson, 22, Peoria, pleaded guilty Monday to a charge of possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams. He was sentenced to one year conditional discharge.

n Dominick W. Finney, 20, of the 200 block of Casey Avenue, pleaded guilty June 7 to a reduced charge of resisting a peace officer. He was originally sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge on a disorderly conduct charge.

n Gregory D. Hardig, 22, of the 15000 block of East Fairfield Road, pleaded guilty June 7 to two counts of serving alcohol to a minor. He was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge.

n Benjamin F. Heard, 29, of the 500 block of Herbert Street, pleaded guilty Monday to a charge of possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams. He was sentenced to one year conditional discharge.

n Wilbert D. Nailing, 55, of the 2400 block of Casey Avenue, pleaded guilty June 7 to a charge of manufacture/delivery of between 2.5 and 10 grams of cannabis. He was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge.

n Rejika B. Peoples, 22, of the 400 block of South 21st Street, pleaded guilty Monday to a charge of possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams. She was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge.

n Rusty L. Reynolds, 24, Benton, pleaded guilty June 7 to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge.

n Shianne L. Richardson, 19, of the 21000 block of North Miller Lake Lane, pleaded guilty June 7 to a charge of consumption of liquor by a minor. The defendant was sentenced to one year court supervision.

n Joshua C. Sims, 29, of the 4100 block of Willow Springs, pleaded guilty June 7 to a charge of open dumping. He was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge.

n Evan K. Green, 26, of the 300 block of East Beacon Court, pleaded guilty June 6 to a charge of burglary. He was sentenced to four years’ conditional discharge and given credit for 19 days served.

n Clint M. Kern, 32, Bluford, pleaded guilty June 7 to a charge of driving under the influence. He was sentenced to one year of court supervision.
