Retired Waltonville school teacher Phylis Bernard points out not a four, but a five-leaf clover she has been able to cultivate. Bernard was taking the transplanted clover to the school for her former students. “I was spending time out in my yard and was spotting a lot of four-leaf clovers,” Bernard said. “I wanted to try to transplant some of them and there are a lot of four leaf and even five leaf clover that have come up from the runners.”
