The annual Mt. Vernon Township High School Hi-Tri Sweetheart Dance was held in Changnon Gym on Feb. 7. This year’s theme was “Midnight in Paris.” The music for the dance was provided by Kickin’ It! Music Productions. The gym was decorated in pink, black and silver. Miss Madi Shepard served as Sweetheart Princess and Kolbey Gentles was the Sweetheart Prince. Sweetheart Kings and Queens were freshmen Ryan Gibson and Jessie Dickerson; juniors Steven Beckham and Alicia Sheldon; seniors Bryce Kujawa and Leah Minor; and sophomores Damon Wright and Hannah Weber.
