Charges Filed

Brian K. Gordon, 45, 401 Castleton Avenue, was formally charged June 27 with unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Records state on May 26 the defendant had less than 200 grams of a substance containing Tramadol, a controlled substance.

n Travis M. Kiselewski, 29, 300 block of North Sixth Street, was formally charged June 27 with unlawful possession with intent to deliver meth. Records state on June 26 the defendant had 5 grams of meth in his possession with the intent to deliver.

n Romaine M. Heath, 32, 1100 block of Conger Avenue, was formally charged June 28 with aggravated battery. Records state on May 16 the defendant struck a male subject about the head and face with his fists.

n Ronald E. Heil, 58, McLeansboro, was formally charged June 28 with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of cannabis. Records state on June 23 the defendant had less than 15 grams of a substance containing cocaine and not more than 2.5 grams of cocaine in possession.

n John R. Majdich, 31, Benton, was formally charged Tuesday with failure to stop after having an accident involving personal injury or death. Records state on June 29 the defendant failed to stop following an accident on Illinois 37 and Game Farm Road in which two people were injured.

n Stephen L. Johnson, 37, Bluford, was formally charged Tuesday with retail theft. Records state on Monday the defendant took Mio Liquid Enhancer, having a value of less than $300, from Family Dollar on South 10th Street.

n Zachary L. Youngblood, 39, of the 9100 block of Cherryville Lane, was formally charged Tuesday with criminal damage to government supported property. Records state on June 26 the defendant damaged a cell door window at the Jefferson County Justice Center.

n Dusty D. Daniels, 22, of the 900 block of North 10th Street, was formally charged June 4 with criminal trespass to real property. Records state on June 1 the defendant entered property owned by Crossroads Community Hospital after being banned from the property.

n Kandi J. McCormick, 27, of the 100 block of East Casey Avenue, was formally charged June 28 with battery. Records state on June 1 the defendant struck a woman in the face. She was also charged with criminal damage to property in that she damaged the victim’s property.

n Steven W. Thomas, 39, Flora, was formally charged June 28 with retail theft. Records state on July 16, 2012, the defendant took fuel, less than $300, from Casey’s on Salem Road.

n Billy B. Beck, 31, of the 1000 block of South 13th Street, was formally charged Tuesday with aggravated assault. Records state on Monday the defendant pointed a knife at a male subject placing the victim in reasonable apprehension of receiving a battery.

n Trazell L. Sanders, 21, of the 400 block of South 17th Street, was formally charged on Tuesday with retail theft. Records state on June 3 the defendant allegedly took two DVD’s and a video game from Kmart, having a value of less than $300.

n Tyler Fuller, 19, Bonnie, was formally charged Tuesday with unlawful consumption of liquor. Records state on May 27 the defendant, being a minor, consumed alcohol.

n Harry W. Dawson, 52, Skokie, was formally charged Tuesday with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Records state on June 2 the defendant possessed a glass pipe with the intent to inhale a substance.

Dispositions

Leon L. Kemmerling, 21, Mt. Vernon, pleaded guilty Tuesday to two charges of theft less than $300. He was sentenced to two years to the Illinois Department of Corrections to run concurrently.

n Devon Beasley, 23, Mt. Vernon, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of criminal trespass to a residence. He was sentenced to 30 months’ conditional discharge.

n Jerod M. Buchanan, 33, Mt. Vernon, pleaded guilty June 27 to a charge of disorderly conduct. He was sentenced to one year conditional discharge. A charge of aggravated assault was dismissed.

n Tavon J. Golliday, 22, Mt. Vernon, pleaded guilty June 27 to a charge of theft less than $500. He was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge and given credit for seven days served.

n Donald J. Thompson, 59, Mt. Vernon, pleaded guilty June 27 to charges of phone harassment and disorderly conduct. He was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge.

n Quencie D. Favors, 18, Mt. Vernon, pleaded guilty June 28 to a charge of retail theft. He was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge.

n David A. Inman, 52, address unavailable, pleaded guilty June 28 to a charge of selling liquor to a minor. He was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge.

n Jeremy A. Lockhart, 20, address unavailable, pleaded guilty June 28 to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge.
