Rachel N. White, 32, of the 700 block of Main Street, was formally charged April 4 with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of hypodermic syringe/needle. Charges state the defendant had less than 15 grams of a substance containing heroin.

n William Weccele, 42, Carmi, was formally charged April 5 with driving while license suspended/revoked.

n Tony T. Melena, 54, Ina, was formally charged April 1 with three counts of domestic battery. Charges state on March 31 the defendant shoved one female family member and two male family members.

n Richard Flores Sr., age unknown, of the 700 block of South 17th Street, was formally charged April 8 with battery. Charges state on April 3 the defendant cut a male in the stomach.

n Ashleigh A. Weaver, 27, of the 1200 block of South 23rd Street, was formally charged on April 10 with unlawful use of a debit card and theft. Charges state on April 3 the defendant obtained control over a man’s debit card without his consent.

n Nicholas A. Duncan, 19, of the 1000 block of Oakland Avenue, was formally charged April 10 with aggravated DUI and DUI. Charges state on April 10 the defendant was involved in a motor vehicle accident resulting in the death of a female.

n Zohn T. McLaughlin, 41, of the 200 block of Opdyke Avenue, was formally charged April 10 with driving while license suspended. On Jan. 29 McLaughlin allegedly drove a vehicle on 12th Street in Mt. Vernon while having his license revoked, and had four previous convictions for the same offense.

n Anthony W. Graham, 44, of the 500 block of South 22nd Street, was formally charged April 10 with disorderly conduct. Records state on April 9 Graham yelled, cursed and threatened a female subject.

Dispositions

Peggy Evans, 38, of the 700 block of South 21st Street, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of aggravated domestic battery. She was placed on probation for 36 months, given a 60-day jail sentence and ordered to pay court fines.

n Robert J. Flanders, 49, 4300 block of Rose Lane, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of criminal damage to state supported property. He was sentenced to 30 months’ conditional discharge and ordered to pay court fines.

n William R. Hawkins, 55, of the 17000 block of East Ranch Road, pleaded guilty Tuesday to charges of possession of a controlled substance and domestic battery. He was sentenced to 30 months’ conditional discharge and six months in jail to run concurrently.

n Jeremy M. Jones, 21, of the 1200 block of South 24th Street, pleaded guilty Wednesday to a charge of battery. He was sentenced to 24 months’ conditional discharge and to pay court fines.

n Alexander D. Laur, 19, of the 17000 block of North Idlewood Lane, pleaded guilty Tuesday to an amended charge of possession of burglary tools. He was sentenced to 30 months’ conditional discharge, given 100 days of jail time, and ordered to pay court fines.

n Timothy G. Noe, 36, of the 600 block of Harrison Street, pleaded guilty April 4 to a charge of domestic battery. He was sentenced to 30 months’ probation and given credit for 60 days served, and ordered to pay court fines.

n Enjoli J. Boyd, 27, Kansas City, Kans., pleaded guilty April 4 to a charge of resisting a peace officer. He was placed on conditional discharge for 18 months and to pay court fines.

n Jeffery T. Dees, 27, Waltonville, pleaded guilty April 8 to a charge of domestic battery. He was sentenced to one year conditional discharge, to perform 100 hours of public service and to pay court costs.

n Jennifer M. Gaskins, 29, DeSoto, pleaded guilty April 4 to a charge of domestic battery. She was sentenced to one year probation and to pay court fines.

n Carol Hargis, 62, St. Louis, pleaded guilty Tuesday to an amended charge of disorderly conduct. She was sentenced to 18 months’ supervision and to pay court fines.

n Shay Lewallen, 19, Cambria, pleaded guilty Monday to a charge of retail theft. The defendant was sentenced to one year conditional discharge and to pay court fines.

n Karim D. McGee, 20, of the 900 block of Lamar Avenue, pleaded guilty Monday to a charge of resisting arrest. He was placed on 18 months’ conditional discharge and given credit for 5 days served.

n Broche L. Taylor, 36, Kankakee, pleaded guilty Thursday to charges of causing a child to be endangered and disorderly conduct. He was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge, given credit for 5 days served, and ordered to pay court fines and costs.

n Andrew W. Woll, 20, Beach Drive, pleaded guilty Thursday to a charge of retail theft. He was sentenced to one year conditional discharge and to pay court fines.
