MT. VERNON — Crews from Tri-County Electric are working to restore power to residents in the Bonnie area.Tri-County Electric Cooperative is reporting its power outage has been due to a vehicle accident which happened at about 12:30 p.m. when a transmission pole in the line serving Bonnie, Barva and Reserve substations was broken. Crews switched feeds to restore power to Bonnie and Reserve. By 1:45 p.m. power was restored to all circuits of Barva except the south circuit, which will be down until the broken transmission pole is replaced.
