“Everybody has a loss of someone with cancer,” Prosise said.
The concert itself is held on a stage built in a field. There is also a concrete pad for dancing and fire pits to provide light and warmth during the show.
“Everybody gets to socialize. It’s nice to get everyone together,” Prosise said.
Tickets for the Sept. 7 festival are on sale now. They cost $8 in advance and $10 at the gate. Concessions will also be sold at the festival.
In addition to music, the event will also feature a raffle, a 50/50 drawing, and a silent auction. Audience members should bring their own chairs.
