Charges Filed:

Earl Liddell, 56, of the 1000 block of Prairie Avenue, was formally charged Aug. 15 with retail theft and possession of a controlled substance. Records state on Aug. 14 the defendant allegedly took five boneless pork chops from Borowiak’s without paying and he had in his possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing cocaine.

n Javier A. Morales, 34, of the 1400 block of White Street, was formally charged Aug. 15 with two counts of burglary and a charge of criminal damage to property. Records state on Aug. 14 the defendant allegedly entered two vehicles with the intent to commit a theft and he damaged a window of one of the vehicles.

n Michael A. Serna, 32, of the 900 block of Cleveland Street, was charged Aug. 15 with two counts of burglary and one charge of criminal damage to property. Records state on Aug. 14 the defendant entered two vehicles with the intent to commit a theft and damaged a window of one of the vehicles.

n David R. Rodriguez, 21, of the 900 block of Cleveland Street, was formally charged Monday with two counts of burglary and one charge of criminal damage to property. Records state on Aug. 14 the defendant entered two vehicles with the intent to commit a theft and damaged a window to one of the vehicles.

n Raquel L. Ashby, 39, Ina, was charged Monday financial institution robbery and aggravated robbery. Records state on June 15 the defendant allegedly through the threat of force took money from an employee of The Cash Store. The second charge alleges the defendant had a firearm while taking money from the employee.

n Jonathan W. Cooper, 41, Ina, was formally charged Monday with unlawful participation in meth production and aggravated unlawful participation in meth production. Records state on Aug. 16 the defendant allegedly participated in the manufacture of 900 grams or more of a substance containing meth; the second charge alleges the defendant participated in the manufacture of 400 grams or more of a substance containing meth and the manufacturing process was a contributing cause of serious injury to an Ina police officer.
