Charges Filed:

Earl Liddell, 56, of the 1000 block of Prairie Avenue, was formally charged Aug. 15 with retail theft and possession of a controlled substance. Records state on Aug. 14 the defendant allegedly took five boneless pork chops from Borowiak’s without paying and he had in his possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing cocaine.

n Javier A. Morales, 34, of the 1400 block of White Street, was formally charged Aug. 15 with two counts of burglary and a charge of criminal damage to property. Records state on Aug. 14 the defendant allegedly entered two vehicles with the intent to commit a theft and he damaged a window of one of the vehicles.

n Michael A. Serna, 32, of the 900 block of Cleveland Street, was charged Aug. 15 with two counts of burglary and one charge of criminal damage to property. Records state on Aug. 14 the defendant entered two vehicles with the intent to commit a theft and damaged a window of one of the vehicles.

n David R. Rodriguez, 21, of the 900 block of Cleveland Street, was formally charged Monday with two counts of burglary and one charge of criminal damage to property. Records state on Aug. 14 the defendant entered two vehicles with the intent to commit a theft and damaged a window to one of the vehicles.

n Raquel L. Ashby, 39, Ina, was charged Monday financial institution robbery and aggravated robbery. Records state on June 15 the defendant allegedly through the threat of force took money from an employee of The Cash Store. The second charge alleges the defendant had a firearm while taking money from the employee.

n Jonathan W. Cooper, 41, Ina, was formally charged Monday with unlawful participation in meth production and aggravated unlawful participation in meth production. Records state on Aug. 16 the defendant allegedly participated in the manufacture of 900 grams or more of a substance containing meth; the second charge alleges the defendant participated in the manufacture of 400 grams or more of a substance containing meth and the manufacturing process was a contributing cause of serious injury to an Ina police officer.

n Linda M. Bigley, 40, Ina, was formally charged Aug. 16 with unlawful participating in in meth production, aggravated unlawful participation in meth production and unlawful possession of meth-making materials. The charges alleged are the same as the charges filed against Cooper. The third count alleges the defendant procured instant cold packs and drain opener crystals, being meth manufacturing materials with the intent to manufacture meth.

n Robert L. Thomas, 38, of the 200 block of Castleton, was formally charged Aug. 16 with unlawful trespassing on railroad property. Records state on July 10 the defendant allegedly walked on railroad tracks at Railroad Street in Bonnie.

n Jennifer N. Craig, 35, of the 1400 block of South 12th Street, was formally charged Aug. 15 with retail theft. Records state on July 12 the defendant took batteries from Kroger without paying.

n Chelsea D. Hilliard, 21, of the 4100 block of Willow Springs, was formally charged Aug. 15 with retail theft. Records state on July 15 the defendant allegedly took numerous items from Walmart without paying.

n Maleah N. Mick, 23, of the 1900 block of South Eighth Street, was formally charged Aug. 15 with criminal damage to property. Records state on June 13 the defendant allegedly damaged a door, television and night stand of a man’s residence.

Dispositions:

Samuel D. Campise, 43, of the 4200 block of Valley Forge, pleaded guilty Monday to a charge of driving under the influence. He was sentenced to 18 months of court supervision.

n Sarah E. Morgan, 21, of the 1500 block of Centralia Road, pleaded guilty Aug. 15 to a charge of driving under the influence. She was sentenced to 18 months of court supervision.

n Marty L. Brumley, 42, of the 1100 block of Oakland Avenue, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. She was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge.

n Richard Flores Sr., 62, of the 700 block of South 17th Street, pleaded guilty Monday to a charge of battery. He was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge.

n Faith M. Hughey, 45, Belle Rive, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of domestic battery. She was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge.

n Caleb P. Ramos, 19, Bluford, pleaded guilty Monday to a charge of consumption of liquor by a minor. He was sentenced to one year conditional discharge.

n Chase A. Soule, 21, of the 12000 block of East Meadows Drive, pleaded guilty Aug. 16 to a charge of criminal damage to property. He was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge.

n Wayne A. Spotanski, 56, Scheller, pleaded guilty Monday to a charge of battery. He was sentenced to 18 months of court supervision.

n Heather M. Suddarth, 19, Carmi, pleaded guilty Aug. 16 to a charge of retail theft. She was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge.

n Sylvia E. Suddarth, 26, Fairfield, pleaded guilty Aug. 16 to a charge of retail theft. She was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge.

n Bruce D. Thomas, 48, of the 700 block of South 15th Street, pleaded guilty Aug. 16 to a charge of violation of an order of protection. He was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge.

n Brian M. Wagner, 30, of the 900 block of Blueberry Hill Avenue, pleaded guilty Aug. 16 to a charge of domestic battery. He was sentenced to 18 months’ conditional discharge.

n Amanda M. Albright, 33, of the 1500 block of Triangle Street, pleaded guilty Wednesday to an amended charge of meth delivery less than 5 grams. She was sentenced to two years of probation.

n Nikko D. Branch, 22, of the 1000 block of South 25th Street, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of mob action. He was sentenced to one year to the Illinois Department of Corrections.

n Rhiannon M. Cates, 31, of the 900 block of South 24th Street, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of possession of a controlled substance. She was sentenced to four years to the Illinois Department of Corrections.

n Zia D. Flowers, 20, of the 1100 block of Park Avenue, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of writing a bad check over $150. She was sentenced to 30 months’ conditional discharge and ordered to make restitution.

n Zalest M. Sronce, 25, Lebanon, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of forgery. He was sentenced to 30 months’ conditional discharge.

n Nicole L. Thompson, 28, of the 400 block of Jordan Street, pleaded guilty Aug. 16 to a charge of theft less than $500. She was sentenced to two years of probation.

n Jeffrey Warnick, 32, Bethalto, pleaded guilty Aug. 15 to a charge of violation of an order of protection with a prior domestic battery conviction. He was sentenced to two years’ conditional discharge and probation on the battery charge was terminated.

n Calvin D. Webster, 25, of the 1200 block of South 27th Street, pleaded guilty Monday to an amended charge of aggravated battery and possession of a controlled substance. He was sentenced to two years’ conditional discharge, to be served concurrently.

n Larry D. Yarbrough, 39, of the 1000 block of South 25th Street, pleaded guilty Monday to a charge of domestic battery. He was sentenced to two years of probation and 60 days in jail, with credit for 34 days served.
