n Robert A. Tate, 30, of the 7700 block of Matisse Lane, was formally charged Nov. 7 with possession of a hypodermic needle/syringe. The defendant is accused of using the needle/syringe for the use of injection.

n Michael D. McCluskey, 18, of the 1000 block of South 13th Street, was formally charged Nov. 7 with assault. Charges state on Oct. 4 the defendant pointed a knife at a man to put him at risk to receive a battery.

n Kriston R.L. Ruiz, 19, of the 600 block of Harrison Street, was formally charged Nov. 8 with two counts of criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct. The charges allege on Nov. 6 the defendant destroyed the interior of a home in the 600 block of Harrison Street, damaged dishes at the same location and yelled at a home and threw things about the home in a manner to alarm and disturb the victim.

n Benjamin X. Stuckey, 24, of the 1500 block of South 14th Street, was formally charged Tuesday with unlawful failure to report as a sex offender.

n Deras P. Moore, 28, of the 800 block of South 22nd Street, was formally charged Tuesday with unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon and unlawful possession of a defaced firearm. The charges allege on Nov. 6 the defendant possessed a firearm after a felony conviction; and he possessed a .40 caliber pistol, upon which the manufacturer’s serial number had been obliterated or removed. The defendant was also charged with possession of a firearm with a legal firearm’s identification card.

n Sean Q. Williams, 46, of the 500 block of South 21st Street, was formally charged Tuesday with aggravated criminal sexual abuse. The charge alleges on or about Nov. 9 the defendant committed an act of sexual penetration with a female, who was at least 13 years of age, but under 17.

n Damondre S. James, 19, of the 1600 block of South 12th Street, was formally charged Tuesday with unlawful possession with the intent to deliver cannabis. The charge alleges on Nov. 9 the defendant possessed more than 10 grams, but not more than 30 grams of cannabis.
