Two employees were cited for allegedly serving liquor to a minor as part of alcohol compliance checks conducted last week in the Mt. Vernon area.
Carrie Loeb, 35, an employee at Lone Star, and Amanda Whitten, 22, an employee at Buffalo Wild Wings, were issued citations for city ordinance violations. The women allegedly provided alcoholic beverages to an underage minor who was acting under the supervision of undercover officers.
The Mt. Vernon Police Department/Jefferson County Sheriff's Department Narcotics Division conducted the checks at 12 businesses Thursday. Lone Star and Buffalo Wild Wings were the only two businesses found to be in violation.
