Thank goodness the bad storms missed us. We only had two trees down. Hopefully the rains will stop and it will get a tad warmer — and now where the air has to be turned on the first day.
My pear tree hopefully missed the frost Friday morning. The frost was scattered, and I didn’t see any near it, but back behind the barn was frost. Mr. Hunt’s blueberries are also blooming. The rain sure messed up the beautiful tulip tree in front of the church. It didn’t last but a week.
The good news of the week is that St. Barbara’s sodality is going to have a quilt bingo in October.

The Waltonville Little League is having a fundraiser at the Scheller Playhouse on May 11. Get your ticket from the parents. There will be a wonder buffet, also music.
There will be a vendor fair at the Scheller Playhouse April 27, starting at 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Check Facebook for all the vendors.
I hope everybody is enjoying and having good luck turkey hunting. I sure do see a lot of them.
Have a good week!
