Musically Speaking

The 2013 Mt. Vernon Fall Fest will begin on Friday, Oct. 18 downtown. That night’s entertainment on the main stage includes the Beaucoup Bottom Band at 5 p.m., then Jordan Carter and Justice at 8:30 p.m. You’ve read and heard from both acts, through this space and on the radio, over the years.

Then, on Saturday Oct. 19, the music begins at 11 a.m. with Polly Launay, and We Got It Covered at noon. Fertile Soil takes the stage at 4 p.m.

From 6:30 TO 8:30 p.m., Trampled Under Foot will re-create the iconic sounds of Led Zeppelin. At 9 p.m., Escape performs The Journey Tribute.

On Sunday, Oct. 20, you’ll find contemporary Christian music on stage from noon until 6 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., it will be Citizen Way, Everfound, and Neverclaim, then Sanctus Real closes out the show at 8:30 p.m.
