More than 150 Senior Circle members and guests enjoyed a rainy Thursday afternoon at the Rolland Lewis Building at Veteran' Park in Mt. Vernon. The ladies enjoyed a delicate lunch prepared by the Crossroads Community Hospital Nutrition Services, led by head chef Rick Russ and dietitian Julia Mowery. After lunch, a style show, hosted by Angela Schrum and Debi Richardson, was presented by the Crossroads Senior Circle Advisory Council along with CEO Ed Cunningham and executive administrative assistant Sue Coughlin. The style show took the humorous approach with “spoof” styles such as a “garden outfit,” an outfit covered with seed packets, a “reign coat,” a royalty robe, and more. The group laughed and enjoyed fellowship. A jewelry sale was also held to benefit the Relay for Life and raised almost $400 at the luncheon. Senior Circle Advisory Council member Carolyn Marks models her “checked pants with matched shirt and tank top outfit” created by her famous designer, husband Eddie Joe. SUBMITTED PHOTO
