---- — Megan Kniffen and David Dietrich were married April 13, 2013, in the Empire Room at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel in St. Louis, in a ceremony conducted by the bride’s father, Randy Kniffen.
The couple exchanged traditional wedding vows, as well as personal vows written by the bride and groom. Scripture readings were provided by both the bride’s mother and the groom’s mother. The couple were attended by the bride’s sister, Holly Lang; and the groom’s brother, Jason Dietrich.
A buffet and dance reception was held at the beautiful Tuscan-inspired Oliva on the Hill with its private, walled outdoor patio complete with fire pit and seating areas. Family and friends danced the night away to music selected by the bride and groom and provided by Millenium Productions. A cupcake and cookie bar provided sweet treats for the guests, and Nick Benner, a friend of the groom, provided a photo booth for the entertainment of guests.
The couple enjoyed a short honeymoon to Seattle, Wash., following the wedding and also a recent honeymoon to Puerto Rico to end the year.
The bride is the director of corporate events at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel and the groom is the director of development for the American Youth Foundation. The couple reside in St. Louis with their two rescue dogs, Ace and Grace.
