---- — Mary Dawn Sursa and Timothy T. Schantz were married Dec. 31, 2013, in Oklahoma City.

The bride is the daughter of Tom and Mary Sursa of Dix and the granddaughter of the late Lucille and Durward Baltzell of Mt. Vernon.

The groom is the son of Joe and Belinda Schantz of Oklahoma City and grandson of of Juanita Christian of Bethany, Okla.

The wedding party included the matron of honor, Stephanie Meyer of Redmond, Wash., sister of the bride; bridesmaids Kaitlyn Sursa of Moore, Okla., sister-in-law of the bride and Bree Caldwell of Moore, Okla., friend of the bride; the best man, Phillip Schantz of Moore, Okla., brother of the groom; groomsmen/ushers Jeff Linduff of Oklahoma, friend of the groom and Wade Sursa of Moore, Okla., brother of the bride; junior bridesmaid Britta Meyer of Redmond, Wash., niece of the bride and baby flower girl Emma Kathryn Sursa of Moore, Okla., niece of the bride. The ringbearer was Bradley Schantz of Mid-West City, Okla., son of the groom.

Musicians included pianist Shane Meyer of Redmond, Wash., brother-in-law of the bride and violinist Brooke Meyer of Redmond, Wash., niece of the bride.

The bride is a graduate of Mt. Vernon Township High School, Rend Lake College and Mid-America University in Oklahoma City. She is teaching at Wheeler Elementary School in Oklahoma City.

The groom is a graduate of Del-City High School in Del-City, Okla., and is employed as a machinist at Horizon Hydraulics in Oklahoma City.

The couple reside in Mid-West City, Okla.
