Autenrieths celebrating 50th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Autenrieth of Mt. Vernon, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

Eldon and Barbara were married on March 31, 1963, at the First Presbyterian in Vandalia.

Eldon is the son of the late Edgar and Velma Autenrieth of Vandalia. Barbara is the daughter of the late James and Ruth Phinney of Vernon. They moved from Vandalia to Mt. Vernon in 1973. They are members of Meadowbrook Christian Church in Mt. Vernon.

Eldon retired as a letter carrier for the Mt. Vernon Post Office. Barbara retired as a pharmacy technician at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. They are the parents of two daughters, Jill Sledge and husband Kevin of Mt. Vernon and Andi Lawler and fiance Keith Lawler of Mt. Vernon.

They have four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, Zachary Sledge and fiancee Robin Daniels and their daughter Ryleigh of Mt. Vernon, Hillary Sledge and fiance Paul Bond and their sons Elijah and Harley of Springfield, Allison Lawler and Ashley Lawler, both of Mt. Vernon.
