Helm - Snow

---- — Devin Paige Helm and Cody Bond Snow, together with their families, would like to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The couple were engaged on July 16, 2012, while on a hike to Grotto Falls in the Great Smokey Mountains National Forest, in Tennessee. At the waterfall, Cody got down on one knee and asked Devin to marry him. Their wedding ceremony is planned for June 15, at the Keenes Christian Church in Keenes, at 2 p.m, with Jerry Wilson officiating.

Devin is a 2009 graduate of Webber Township High School and a 2012 graduate of Rend Lake College. She is currently a junior attending Southern Illinois University - Carbondale majoring in accounting. She is employed at Maurice’s in Mt. Vernon.

Devin is the daughter of Travis and Terri Helm of Mt. Vernon; the granddaughter of John and Carol Ann Helm of Orchardville and Jerry and Connie Taylor of Wayne City.

Cody is a 2008 graduate of Webber Township High School and a 2011 graduate of Rend Lake College. He is a senior at Southern Illinois University - Carbondale majoring in civil engineering. He is currently employed at the computer lab at SIU-C.

Cody is the son of Charles Jr. and Carla Snow of Bluford; the grandson of Charles and the late Velma Snow of Mt. Vernon and Harry and Darlene Bond of Dix.

After a short honeymoon to the Great Smokey Mountains, the couple will reside in Carbondale. Family and friends are invited to attend the ceremony.
