Breanne Tibbs of Petersburg and Kyle Ritchey of Woodlawn were united in marriage on Sept. 14, 2013, at Walker’s Bluff in Carterville.
The bride is the daughter of Greg and Tania Tibbs of Petersburg and Becky Sears of Springfield. She is the granddaughter of Bill and Joan Tibbs of Petersburg and Bill and Jane Sears of Peterbsurg.
Breanne is a 2007 graduate of PORTA High School, a 2011 graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and received her master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from Eastern Illinois University
in May of 2013. She is currently a speech pathologist at St. Mary’s Good Samaritan in Centralia.
The groom is the son of Wes and Melissa Harris of Woodlawn and Jim Ritchey of Mt. Vernon. He is the grandson
of June Sanders of Houston, Frank and Patsy Webb of Omaha, Neb. and the late Arley and Cecile Ritchey of
Kyle graduated from Woodlawn Community High School in 2007, and received a bachelor’s degree in community health with concentrations in health care administration and rehabilitation from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May 2010.
He is currently the director of operations at Physicians Filing Service in Mt. Vernon.
Breanne and Kyle were married by the Rev. Val Treece at 5 p.m. in the evening. Allie Howarth, friend of the bride, was the maid of honor along side bridesmaids Lauren Harris, sister of the groom, Rachel Graumenz, cousin of the bride and Amy Ozella, cousin of the bride. Flower girls were Megan and Rachael Correl, cousins of the bride.
Brett Harris, brother of the groom, served at best man while George Tibbs, brother of the bride, Zack Miller, friend of the groom and Lucas Miller, friend of the groom, were groomsmen. Patrick and Ty McGinnis, cousins of the bride, were ring bearers and Dominic Ozella, cousin of the bride, and Ethan Shurtz, friend of the groom, were ushers.
A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at Legends Restaurant at Walker’s Bluff.
The couple resides in Mt. Vernon.
